"Being around women exposed me to insecurities, vulnerabilities, what they cover and hide. I learned to be intuitive, make aesthetic decisions based on existing criteria. I get to know insecurities of clients, routines, habits, necessities, intentions. And I help to shift clients' focus from how they come off, to what they must embody to be true to themselves as

well as the character.

My nontraditional training intimidated every local stylist and I moved out at 16 years old to do hair professionally. Originally I did hair shows, won hair competitions, salon/shop + hobby stylist; and evolved into tv/film production stylist, adapting into a more professional, editorial aesthetic as a self-taught stylist."
